Rawaan Alkhatib is a Brooklyn-based writer and artist who was born and raised in Dubai, UAE. She is the editor-in-chief of Backstage Magazine and co-editor of the Catenary Press with Rob Schlegel and Dan Poppick. Currently, she is working on a project about the Empty Quarter, the largest sand desert in the world.
